MicrobAce is a disinfectant which reacts rapidly against viruses, bacteria and fungi without affecting multicellular organisms (Plant or animal). It is now widely used as a high level disinfectant in Europe and the US where it is EPA approved for this use. It does not leave residue of taste, odor or surface spotting.

Technology:

MicrobAce (superoxidized water) attacks the cell walls of microorganisms, denaturing their proteins and inactivating their enzymes. Due to osmolarity difference (the concentration of ion in the solution vs. the cytoplasm) it induces a rupture in the cell wall, or lysis. Extra polymer substance (EPS) is exuded by the organism to protect itself and this in turn is rapidly oxidized leaving its membranes breached and the subcellular components destroyed. MicrobAce is non mutagenic.

MicrobAce (superoxidised water) removes electrons from organic matter and micro-organisms there by breaching their membranes and oxidising their sub-cellular components including proteins, enzymes and DNA. It is rapid, non-mutagenic and does not affect multi-cellular life forms but is utilised throughout the animal kingdom as the primary immune system against invading bacteria and viruses

How Our Technology Works

MicrobAce Solution functions via an oxidative rather than a chlorinating reaction. Its disinfecting properties are based upon the oxidizing power of the free oxygen atoms and upon chlorine substitution reactions. This eliminates the formation of chlorinated organic compounds which are generally considered to increase cancer risk. This also means hypochlorous is more rapidly reactive and a stronger disinfectant than hypochlorite.
